About BHARAT NUTS
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The groundnut manufacturing process at Nutri Trade is designed to ensure high quality, freshness, and nutritional value in every product. From raw groundnut pods to the final edible product, each step is carried out with precision and care.
Step 1
Harvesting
Nutri Trade sources mature groundnut plants, typically grown over a period of 120–150 days. Once mature, the plants are pulled from the soil, and the pods containing the groundnuts are separated from the vines.
Step 2
After harvest, the groundnut pods undergo a drying process to reduce moisture levels. Nutri Trade utilizes both sun drying and mechanical drying methods to achieve optimal moisture content, which is essential to prevent mold and ensure safe storage.
Step 3
Cleaning
Dried groundnut pods are carefully cleaned using advanced machinery such as air classifiers and vibrating screens. This stage removes dust, stones, and other impurities, ensuring that only the cleanest pods proceed to the shelling process.
Step 4
Shelling
Nutri Trade employs modern shelling equipment to separate the kernels (nuts) from the outer shell. The machinery is calibrated to crack the pods open gently, ensuring the kernels are not damaged during the shelling process.
Step 5
After shelling, the groundnut kernels are separated from the shells using air blowers or sieves. The shells are set aside for further use, including biomass production, while the kernels move on to the next stages.
Step 6
Grading and Sorting
Groundnut kernels are graded based on size, quality, and intended application. Premium-grade nuts are reserved for direct consumption as Bharat Nuts, while other grades may be used in oil extraction or other products.
Step 7
Quality Control
Step 8
Packaging
The groundnuts are then packaged in airtight containers to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Packaging varies based on whether the product is intended for wholesale, retail, or industrial use.
